Photographing this Black Bear in the forest & meadows of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. In the slide show below you can see him stop and look up into the small cedar pine tree. He stood up on his hind legs and foraged around from a few minutes until coming up empty. This image was captured as he turned and seemed disappointed in his lack of results before returning to all four paws on the ground.
