I along with 99.9% of all the visitors in Yellowstone National Park would have been able to photograph this Mule Deer. The reason is that this Mule Deer was on a bank just a few feet from the road and studies show that most of Yellowstone’s visitors NEVER leave their cars. I was driving in the high country near Dunraven Pass and passed him several different days. He had worn a dirt spot and would sit there chewing his cud and watch the traffic go by and most of the visitors never noticed him.
