Panoramic of Grand Teton Mountain Range / Western Slopes

This panoramic image of the Grand Teton Mountain Range / Western Slopes is 2ft x 6ft print. I photographed them with the Aspen trees in fall colors and during the golden evening light from the ridges of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. I wanted to photograph the Teton range differently from the famous and sometimes over photographed Snake River and reflection images that are part of the eastern slopes. Those images are wonderful too but, I wanted something else.

This panoramic image is Seven (7) images photographed with a long lens ( 300mm) shot vertically on a tripod.

I wanted to bring the details of the mountains in closer with the 300mm lens. I also wanted to have a wider, taller panoramic image which by photographing it vertically was accomplished. It was stitched with Adobe Photoshop CS5 ” Photomerge”

I have a very talented crafter of custom wood frames producing a unique frame for each of the 150 Limited Edition 26″ x 75″ prints.
