This log cabin in located on Bluff Mountain Nature Preserve in North Carolina. One of the most beautiful and ecologically significant natural heritage sites in the southeast, Bluff Mountain Nature Preserve, near Warrensville, North Carolina, offers visitors scenic beauty, unusual landforms, and an amazing botanical variety. The mountain’s unique geology, hydrology and ecology intertwine to create an unusual mixture of habitats and wildlife. The image below is the Carnivorous Sundew Plant which is found on this mountain top paradise. The hike is approximately two miles over rocky terrain of medium difficulty and takes about four hours.
