My Favorite Images / Tom Turkeys Displaying in Cades Cove GSMNP

I spent some time this spring chasing and photographing the Tom Turkeys “displaying” for the Hens in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This scene was in Cades Cove one afternoon as Four Tom Turkeys “displayed” as several Hens walked around and fed in the meadows. With a little patience to allow all the turkeys to become comfortable with my presence, I was able to get these close images without disturbing the turkeys mating behaviors.
