Sunrise over Mount Pisgah and the Blue Ridge Mountains | Panoramic Images

This image was taken during sunrise near Black Balsam Knob in the Shining Rock Wilderness area looking north toward Mount Pisgah, the peak on the left with the radio tower. Mount Pisgah is a mountain in the Appalachian Mountain Range and part of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The mountain’s evleavtion is 5,721 ft. That mountain range in the background is the Black Mountain Range with the highest mountain east of the Mississippi river, Mt Mitchell elevation 6,648 ft.

I like to photograph early morning in this area, the mountain meadows are golden with the first rays of sunlight and its vistas are nature at its finest with beautiful stunning views.

Thank you so much for your time & interest in my work and as always all your comments are very much appreciated.
