Grizzly Bear Cub | Yellowstone National Park

I photographed this Grizzly Bear Cub while hiking near Dunraven Pass and Mt Washburn in Yellowstone National Park. Grizzly bear cubs spend two and one-half and sometimes three and one-half years under their mother’s care before separation. The Grizzly bear population within the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE) is estimated to be approximately 600 bears. Approximately 150-200 of these grizzly bears are estimated to have home ranges at least partially inside Yellowstone National Park (YNP).

Thank you for time & interest in my work and please visit the website www.naturewurks.com for additional images.

As always all your comments are welcomed and very much appreciated!
