Calcified Dragonfly | Mammoth Hot Spring | Yellowstone National Park

This is an image of a Dragonfly in the calcified hot waters of Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. The early morning light adds to the colorful formations underwater. I saw it laying in several inches of water while walking and photographing along the boardwalks around Mammoth Hot Springs in the northwestern part of the park.

Thank you for time & interest in my work and please visit the website www.naturewurks.com for additional images.

As always all your comments are welcomed and very much appreciated!
