Walking along the sand dunes at Cape Hatteras National Seashore on the outer banks of North Carolina came across a large flock of Seagulls along the water’s edge not really moving much. No warning, the Seagulls ascended all at once,  going in one direction to create this image. Winter is an excellent time of year to visit and photograph North Carolina coastal regions and Outer Banks for birders. The summer visitors are gone and access to several wildlife refuges is made easier. Visit the many migrating species of birds passing through and wintering in Pea Island NWR,  Lake Mattamuskeet NWR and Swanquarter NWR.

Thank you for time & interest in my work as always all your comments are welcomed and very much appreciated!
