The Grey Jay, also Gray Jay, or whisky jack, is a member of the crow and jay family found in the forests across North America and in the Rocky Mountains subalpine zone. If you’ve been camping you have probably had contact with the Grey Jay. Those wonderful detailed lines in his feathers is what caught my eye and using a long telephoto lens was able to capture them.

Thank you for time & interest in my work as always all your comments are welcomed and very much appreciated!
