This Male Mountain Bluebird perched looking for insects, was very colorful in the white snowy open fields. Mountain Bluebirds are very common in the western North America, particularly in sagebrush at middle and higher elevations. They are also a great way to observe nature close-up due to readily taking to human-altered habitats, often nesting in bluebird boxes and foraging in pastures.

Thank you for time & interest in my work as always all your comments are welcomed and very much appreciated!
