Mallard Duck – Great Smoky Mountains National Park

This colorful male Mallard Duck was in the Gum Swamp Wetlands in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The low light and the still water create a mirror like reflection that is wonderful for nature photography. Mallard ducks are the most common and recognizable wild ducks in the Northern Hemisphere. They can be found near ponds, swamps, wetlands, streams, and lakes.

Thank you for the privilege of you time & interest in my work as always all your comments are welcomed and very much appreciated!
